Area of Practice: Family Law
Following the successful completion of her pupillage, Diana became a Member of Clarendon Chambers in October 2010.
Diana has practiced as a family lawyer since 1985 with a particular emphasis in Public Law proceedings. She was admitted to the role of solicitors in 1986 and in that capacity she acted on behalf of Local Authorities, the NSPCC, parents, extended family & children.
She became a Member of the Law Society Children Panel in 1987 and in recent years was a Local Authority member of the panel. She has worked as an in-house Local Authority lawyer, in private practice and as Principal in her own firm specializing in representing Local Authorities over a wide geographical area. She transferred to the Bar in 2010.
Throughout her career Diana has conducted complex child protection cases, as well as Judicial Review and private law matters, including injunctions and contact applications, child abduction and Hague Convention matters. She has a thorough understanding of the workings of Local Government.
She is an experienced trainer.
