Specialist Areas of Practice: Public Law
Barbara Zeitler’s practice covers a wide range of work, including environmental health (statutory nuisance, health and safety, and food safety), licensing, taxi and private hire car licensing, trading standards and benefit frauds. She has particular expertise in all areas relating to housing, including disrepair, possession proceedings, homelessness and allocations. Employment Barbara acts on behalf of both claimants and respondents in a wide range of cases covering unfair dismissal, wrongful dismissal, claims under the Working Time Regulations, and all types of discrimination claims. In 2003 Barbara was awarded a JP Warner Scholarship and spent three months at the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg; In 2005 she spent a month at a Parisian law firm as part of the London-Paris Bar Exchange.
