Elizabeth has defended and prosecuted all types of crime since being called to the bar although her practice is now predominantly for the Defence. Elizabeth appears regularly in the Crown Court and in the Magistrates and Youth Courts representing clients throughout the Midlands.

Family and Matrimonial Law

Elizabeth Gooderham has gained a broad experience of family work over the last couple of years and now regularly appears in both the County Court and Family Proceedings Court covering a wide range of cases.

Elizabeth’s family practice includes all aspects of ancillary relief, contact and residence orders, applications for injunctive relief, committal hearings and public law Children Act proceedings. She has conducted a number of final hearings in the FPC representing vulnerable clients.

Elizabeth has acted on behalf of claimants and defendants on numerous occasions in the County Courts in respect of both Fast Track and Small Claims matters. Cases have included personal injury (including infant settlement), all types of road traffic claims, contractual disputes, mortgages and possession hearings, debt recovery, bankruptcy petitions and attending at inquests.
