Helen Brander commenced her career in Chancery before moving into general common law, concentrating particularly on family and chancery / civil work. She is experienced at High Court and County Court level, and is able to deal effectively with difficult and vulnerable clients. Area of Practice: FAMILY | MATRIMONIAL Helen Brander acts and advises in all aspects of family and associated areas of law, including: • ancillary relief; • private law Children Act proceedings; • public law Children Act proceedings; • claims under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996; • claims relating to the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependents) Act 1975; • wills and probate disputes. Area of Practice: Chancery / Civil / Commercial Helen Brander acts, drafts documents and advises in many areas of Chancery / Commercial / Civil law, including: • contractual disputes; • individual and company insolvency; • land and boundary disputes; • claims under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996; • disputes relating to wills and probate; • residential and commercial landlord and tenant; • housing.
