Robert has a broad practice, with a particular emphasis on personal injury and contractual disputes.

Robert also provides litigation assistance and advice to the Treasury Solicitors regarding personal injury claims brought against the prison services. He was also seconded to Medway County Council in 2006, where he worked on property and contractual disputes.

Civil Litigation

Commercial & Contractual

Robert has represented and advised on a full range of commercial and contractual matters, in particular the sales of goods and supply of services, hire purchase and consumer credit. He has appeared in the Companies Court and before Masters in the High Court.

Personal Injury

Robert has extensive experience of claims involving employers' and occupiers' liability, tripping & slipping, and road traffic accidents. He regularly advises the Treasury Solicitors in respect of claims against the prison service.

Property

He has appeared in the County Court in possession claims.

Employment

Robert is familiar with all areas of employment and discrimination law. He recently applied successfully for an interim injunction in case regarding restrictive covenants.

Family

Robert has experience in public law Children Act proceedings and Ancillary Relief. He has made successfully applications for non-molestation orders.

Crime

Robert regularly defends and prosecutes in the Magistrates' Court, and has made frequent appearances in the Crown Court.
