Members of Clarendon Chambers’ Public Law Team have experience in a wide range of public law work. The team is driven by a fundamental commitment to human rights, social justice and equality. We receive instructions from a diverse range of clients including local authorities, charities, law centres, NGOs and solicitors. The team has a firm commitment to representing the interests of the vulnerable and disadvantaged and giving a voice to those who are often unable to represent themselves for a multitude of reasons. Pro bono work is also undertaken by individual members in a range of areas.

Members of the Team offer expertise in the following main areas;

Housing Law:- including homelessness, housing benefit and entitlement, allocations, right to buy and disrepair, harassment (civil & criminal), anti social behaviour orders.

Civil Liberties: - we draw upon members’ broader experience in criminal, civil, housing, personal injury, employment and family law to provide clients with pragmatic advice, assistance and representation in a wide variety of cases relating to abuses of civil liberties.

Members of the Team regularly appear in the Administrative Court.
